malta
Substancia que se prepara conservando cebada en una atmósfera húmeda hasta que la germinación llega a un límite determinado. El producto es entonces deshidratado y "curado" elevándole la temperatura lentamente a lo largo de un período de varios días. La malta se usa en cervecerías y en la preparación de distintos productos farmacéuticos.
